Vegas Style Blackjack Strategy

Blackjack is arguably the most popular of all poker games. It’s relatively easy to learn and is extremely fun to play at casinos. It originates from France almost 300 years ago. It has survived this long to become one of the most played casino games ever. Even though blackjack is relatively easy to understand and play, like any casino game it still requires skill and knowledge of the game if you want to be able to win consistently, especially considering that all casino games have the odds stacked against the player.

One strategy you could implement tests your memory and knowledge, which is card counting. Ultimately, blackjack is a game of numbers and remembering which cards have already been dealt will give you an upper hand. Keep in mind though that card counting is frowned upon by casinos and if they find you doing it you may be asked to leave. So, be careful.

Another strategy you could try is to find the tables that seem popular because this usually means that table is paying out for wins. If that’s the case, watch the players before you enter the game and see if any are betting recklessly as they may be beginners and have money to spend without focusing on a strategy.

Avoid the free alcoholic drinks offered by most Vegas casinos because they are hoping your impaired judgement will encourage you to spend more. You must stick to a game plan and set a limit as to how much you’ll spend. Never bet more than you can easily afford to lose and enjoy the game and you winnings.
